Pirlet Octave abstract composition

Octave Pirlet (Autumn 1914-Oppem-Meise 1979)
Is a Belgian painter, draftsman and watercolourist of landscapes, Brussels picturesque views, marines, port insights, Figures and Flowers.
He practices a very structured figurative painting, a fawn or abstract expressionism, where the security of the line is combined with the color pleasure.
Painter and watercolourist; author of landscapes (Flanders, Brabant, Italy, France, Greece), Marines, views of ports, of Brussels sites, flower figures and still lifes. Student of the Academy of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode. His rather tormented paintings, characterized by the contrast of violent colors and a lyrical touch, belong to fauvism. His watercolors, more spontaneous, calmer and more restrained, sometimes approach abstraction. The solar star, trees in general and the willow in particular are other recurring motifs in this sometimes exalted, sometimes serene work.
Octavian takes pretext of the subject for experiments that decline a multitude of shades of agreements.
