Philippe Decelle (1948) – Varied

Artistic expression Philippe Decelle is diving from the start in the world of mathematics of his studies he completed in 1971 as Civil Engineering from the University of Brussels.

In his works finds ever taste of geometry, the blueprint and rhythm, trying to achieve Flaubert's prophecy 1852: "Art is something that will keep the middle between algebra and music". Mathematics, such as representation of factorial, networks, of controlled geometry, bring to balance work and sérénité.Il are transposed emotions, including those of his visits to La Croix-Valmer with his philosophical father Baron André Jaumotte, Rector during his studies.

This artist is also known for his private museum dedicated to plastic : the Plasticarium, in Brussels.
