André Bizette-Lindet ( 28 February 1906 Savenay – 1998 Sèvres)
It was a French sculptor. Student at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Grand Prix de Rome in 1930 with his sculpture javelin thrower, He went to Rome, under the leadership of Paul Landowski of 1931 at 1935.
Associate of French Artists, it appears from the Salon 1929, when he was received with honors. It also exposes the Salon d'Automne, Fair comparisons to artists and decorators. He was holding a diploma of honor at the International Exhibition of 1937
André Bizette-Lindet has directed the figures of the bronze doors of the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris in 1937, decorated the French pavilion at the International Fair of New York 1939-1940 and participated in the decoration of the Embassy of France in Ottawa 1938.
In the second part of his career
He will contribute to the Mur Vivant research group which seeks to articulate sculpture with contemporary architecture.. His work, carved on a wide variety of materials (terracotta, plaster, marble, sandstone, granite, bronze, ceramic..), then in large monumental part. In 1955, he made the altar of the cathedral of Rouen. It is a green marble table serpentine Aosta Valley, based on the symbols of the evangelists in gilded lead.
In 1941 it has at the Salon des Tuileries "Bust of Yves Brayer".

Bizette Lindet is the author of one of high relief murals (Fezzan) adorning the memorial of Fighting France, on Mount Valerien, Suresnes. The Maritime Museum an exhibition devoted to him 1984.
André Bizette-Lindet, who spent his youth in Le Mans (Sarthe) and was student of the high school boys of Le Mans, has made several sculptures for the city in the years 1950-60 : the memorial to the Leclerc Marshal (place Franklin Roosevelt), seven statues of gilded bronze representing the arts, that adorned the Municipal Theater, Place des Jacobins, sculpture adorning the university science college, Montbarbet street.
