The Andelys

The Andelys [delicious]¹ is a French commune located in region Normandie in the department of the’Your.

Municipality of the valley Seine from the northeast of the department of’Your, it is located at 100 kilometers from Paris and 40 kilometers from Rouen.

The town is located in the Gambon valley., at the heart of one of the loops of the Seine.

The hills of the Seine located near Andelys, tops of 150 meters, are part of the European network of protected areas Nature 2000 thanks in particular to their particular vegetation.

Chalk cliffs, some of which are used by climbers (rock climbing and rock climbing), are among the highest in the Seine valley. They make up a picturesque landscape (whiteness of the rock surrounded by very dense vegetation) above the river.
