The Great Sands, the charm of yesteryear
Les Grands Sables at Le Pouldu was the cradle of the seaside resort of Le Pouldu. The first bathers appeared in the years 1850.
The first two villas were built near the beach around 1875. The first hotel opened in 1887.
It was at this time that the painters of the Pont-Aven school stayed at the " Beach refreshment stall »Which greatly contributed to the reputation of the site.
