The emotion is done in danger, laughter, the risk and in the feat.
The new circus
Shortly after the Second World War, in the years 50, The traditional circus is experiencing a crisis and a disaffection of the public which is explained in particular by the generalization of radio and television. In the years 70, Young circus artists then try to renew the circus arts by making some modifications : – The show no longer necessarily takes place under a marquee or around a circular track but it can also take place on theater scenes or in the street. – Disappearance of training numbers and the systematic character of Mr. Loyal – The show is designed as one and the same story and no longer a succession of numbers unrelated to each other – The circus opens up to other disciplines which are integrated into the shows : theater, dance, street arts, video, puppets…) This is called "the new circus"
